Happy New Years Eve! I wanted to share my goals and resolutions for 2019, and reflect on how great 2018 was. I accomplished so many things in 2018; starting my blog (and taking it seriously), being accepted into LikeToKnow.it (an app where you can shop my looks), starting my YouTube channel (so recent, but always has been a dream of mine), starting my senior year of college, interning in New York City, and so many more!
I truly didn’t think that 2018 could be beaten, but after giving it some thought, I already know 2019 is only going to be better. Below are my goals for 2019, and I plan to follow through with them and keep you all updated on my progress!
upload 3 new blog posts a week
while I have been pretty good at uploading on my blog when there is “something to write about,” I want to plan ahead and have 3 new posts up every week. I don’t want to get to a point where I am putting up content for the sake of putting it up, and I want it to be quality over quantity. In order to make sure this is the case, I’ll need to plan ahead when it comes to blog posts and an uploading schedule, so that’s going to be a huge task of mine to work on.
upload a new YouTube video every week
My YouTube is my new baby!!! I absolutely LOVE creating content on a more visual platform, so I hope you love it (and subscribe) too! (I’ll be vlogging my getting ready & New Years Eve night, so stay tuned for that video!)
get a full-time job (doing something I love)
I’ll be graduating in May 2019, and hoping to begin working full-time shortly after that! I’m not exactly sure where I’ll be working or what I’ll be doing, but hopefully something in the fashion industry! (Send your best wishes please! Interview season is approaching!)
move into my own apartment
Again, this all really depends on where my job is and what I end up doing, HOWEVER moving into my own apartment is such a dream and goal of mine for this year and I cannot wait to see where I end up living! (And cannot wait to share A BUNCH of home decor posts with you all!)
Those are my main 4 goals for 2019, but of course I have smaller resolutions that I plan on working towards.
- Drink less coffee
- Continue being as good with my skin-care routine as I am now
- Get back into running, and run outdoors at least 4 times a week
- Go to a spin class at least 2x a week
- Try another hot yoga class (I used to do these at home, but I have yet to try a studio in New Jersey!)
- Reach 10k Instagram followers
- Reach 1,000 YouTube subscribers
- Reach 500 subscribers on my blog
I have quite a bit of work to put in this upcoming year, but I cannot wait for it to begin!
