If there’s one thing that I always start and finish my day with, it’s my skincare routine. With each season, I try to switch around the products I use. I’ve always been a huge fan of Clinique products (and still am!), but I’m always interesting in testing out new skincare products as long as their ingredients don’t seem too harsh or scented for my skin.
Although I don’t stray too far from using the same 3-4 skincare brands, with the dry, cold air, it was time to try something new. So, today, I’m sharing my full winter skincare routine that have been keeping my skin fresh and hydrated this winter season.
When I first tried this foaming cleanser, I was a little confused. My normal go-to cleanser immediately “bubbles and foams” but this one went on a little more like lotion. It definitely still works (and smells amazing; super fresh and clean!), and it felt like it cleansed my skin really well.
This intense-hydration serum has been my lifesaver this winter. I use it almost every night! It’s not as thick as a normal moisturizer lotion, but it’s definitely not a liquid like most serums. It goes on so smoothly and immediately feels so hydrating. I wouldn’t recommend using it in the morning, though, because it leaves your face feeling somewhat sticky. Although it’s a thin consistency, it feels like a pretty thick layer of moisturizer (hence the name: intense) on my skin.
Other than the consistency, color, packaging, and name, I haven’t really been able to figure out the difference between this hydrating sleep mask and the serum I mentioned above. This product smells incredible and is more of a gel-like texture, but as far as hydration goes-I find that these products work very similar.
As always, skincare varies for every different skin type. What works for me and my skin may not work for you, so definitely be wary of what you’re putting on your face. I also know that these products are pretty pricey compared to what I’d normally use, so if you’re looking for something more affordable I really recommend Aveeno products and as mentioned before, anything Clinique!
