My Current Favorites from Loft: March Try-On

Happy Sunday! I set out today to do a few different try-on hauls at the local mall but quickly realized my options were limited. This particular mall has no J.Crew, no Madewell, no Gap, no Anthropologie, the list could unfortunately go on. Luckily, they did have a Loft. I decided to try on a few of their newer arrivals and share some of the pieces that I loved.

I haven’t done a blog post like this before, but I love seeing other bloggers share their in-store try ons. If you prefer online shopping, it’s easier to make your decision after seeing them on a “real” person. If you like this style blog post, let me know! I’d love to do more of these in the future with more stores. I hope you enjoy viewing some of my favorite pieces from Loft for the upcoming month!

Outfit #1

Sweater | Jeans | Boots (not from Loft, couldn’t find mine but linked similar)

When I first tried on this sweater, I wasn’t completely sold. It’s not your typical soft sweater material and it definitely runs small. However, now that I’m looking back on these pictures, I’m obsessed. The floral detail is so pretty for spring and the material reminds me of an “Irish” sweater. I’d say this is one of my favorites and it’s perfect for March! With a pair of jeans and brown booties, just add a green scarf and this is the perfect St. Patrick’s Day outfit. How cute are the sleeves!? I’ve shared a more detailed-shot below.

Outfit #2

Top | Jeans | Boots (not from Loft, couldn’t find mine but linked similar)

Green has been my go-to color lately. Whether it be a sweater, jacket, accessories, or a blouselike this one, I’ve always been attracted to this color. And for the month of March, I’d say it’s pretty fitting. This blouse definitely runs true-to-size, but if you have a long torso (like I do), I’d suggest sizing up so it isn’t cropped. Paired with these white jeans, this outfit just felt like the perfect combo. It was the first outfit I put on where I actually felt like I was doing a spring try-on haul. And who says you have to wait until Memorial Day weekend to wear white!? I’m all for breaking that rule (and I have been!).

Outfit #3

Dress | Boots (not from Loft, couldn’t find mine but linked similar)

I think I’ve found the perfect dress for this spring and summer. I’m always reaching for anything striped, so I already knew I would love this dress before I even put it on. It’s a light-weight material which is great for warmer weather, but it also felt like such high quality! I wouldn’t be worried about it flying around if it were windy and it wasn’t see-through at all. AND: IT HAS POCKETS! This was QUITE the surprise when I tried it on and it only made the dress that much better. This dress could be styled with riding boots, booties (like the ones pictured), sandals, white sneakers, honestly anything. If you’re only looking to splurge on one piece from this post, I’d suggest this dress.

Outfit #4

Top (similar version) | Jeans | Boots (not from Loft, couldn’t find mine but linked similar)

This was the softest material ever. I love basic striped t’s  like this one, because I felt like I could dress it up. It’s such a great basic that you could style with any color denim and it’s such a closet-staple. Unfortunately, I think everyone had the same idea with me hence this shirt is sold out (at least online it is, but check your local store if you can!). I’ve linked a few similar options including a short sleeve version.

Happy Shopping! 🙂
