Before we were tied down to staying home, I wore this gorgeous striped Caslon sweater out and about on the Newport Waterfront in Jersey City. It was soft, the colors were vibrant, and it felt like one of the last days I’d be able to bundle up for “winter weather.” It was sunny and felt like warmer weather would be arriving soon.. Little did we know, within a few weeks, the thought of going “out-and-about” would soon be an unknown.
Most years, my favorite time of the year is anytime but spring. I can name endless reasons why I love fall, winter, and summer, but for some reason, spring always fell last on my list. That is, until this year. The thought of not having a spring is making me realize all of the things I love about this blooming transitional season. Celebrating Easter at a local restaurant on the water, wearing spring pastels out-and-about, noticing that the weather is warmer each day when commuting to work, the list is endless…
