With both Ant and I working remotely, you could say we spend a lot of time at home… When I’m not working at my desk or table, I’m usually crafting something in the kitchen or relaxing in the living room. I think I love adjusting our apartment for the seasons because we spend so much time in our apartment. I like to keep it clean and organized because it’s our office space, but because it’s also our home, I try to do my best to keep it cozy, new, and inspiring. With October just arriving, it feels like the perfect time to prepare our space for the upcoming, cooler months.
This time of the year, I spend a lot of my free time in the kitchen. Between cooking a new dinner recipe, baking a seasonal treat, or preparing a dish to bring to a gathering, these days, there’s no shortage of delicious scents in our apartment. We also spend more time in our living room this time of the year, as I find myself grabbing for more books to read during the cooler months; plus our living room is our go-to football Sunday spot and my cozy seasonal ‘theater’ for movies.
