Happy Monday and Happy December Eve, all! I cannot believe November is already over – I feel like it was just Halloween! Thanksgiving came and went almost too quick and now I’m in full-on holiday mode. I know December is going to fly by too, so I’m doing everything I can to soak up all of it. And to kick things off, Anthony and I went and got our Christmas tree!! There’s this Christmas tree “farm” (it’s more like a stand) in the middle of the Boston Seaport and we had walked past it while out for a walk a week or two ago. We decided to go back to get our tree and thankfully when we went, there were barely any people and plenty of trees to choose from.
We found our tree, went back to the apartment, and immediately started cleaning and preparing to turn our little apartment into a winter wonderland. We made dried orange ornaments (blog post coming on that soon!), played Christmas music, and decorated our tree – it was such a festive day!
Our tree ended up turning out beautiful and I’m so happy we got a real one! Our whole apartment smells like pine and it makes everything 10x more cozy. So, that leaves me with one question for you – are you team real tree or fake tree!?
