I’ve been loving styling the most simple and classic pieces in my closet lately. I’ve been able to make 3-4 different looks just with this white blouse. Anyways, back to the outfit. While I love wearing a fun pop of color here and there, I usually stick to what I consider my personal neutrals. For my closet that includes whites, tan, navy, black, and light blue (at least in the summertime). I’d rather have more basics in my closet instead of bright colors and prints, simply because basics tend to be what I reach for most often. This specific outfit is one of my recent go-to looks. Both this blouse and these shorts feel like pajamas, but make me feel so put together.
Although the end of August is coming quickly and Labor Day will soon be here, I don’t usually follow the “no white after Labor Day” rule. An outfit like this is one I’ll be wearing all through September, weather-permitting.
