My “One Day” Home Office

Like many of us, I haven’t stepped foot in an office building since March 2020. Since then, I’ve moved back to Massachusetts and into an apartment in Boston. A teeny apartment, I should mention. Both Anthony and I are currently working remotely, so we knew that having some sort of an “office” setup was a must-have. Luckily we’re not in a studio or anything, so there’s enough room for the two of us to work in separate rooms.

I’m the type of person that thrives based on my work environment. I like having an organized desk and designated work space so every time I sit there, I feel like I’m “working.” The whole “work from the couch” or “work from bed” thing just doesn’t work for me… Nor would I want it to! While I absolutely love my little “office” corner, I’m always dreaming about my “one day” home office.

Call me a dreamer, but I thought I’d share some of my fairytale home office inspiration.

I love these doors! I also love that there’s a few different places to sit, the lighting is gorgeous, and the big window is a must! It looks like there’s cabinets which are definitely not optional for my future office.. I need all the storage I can get!

This is my dream luxury office. I’d probably opt for a different rug, desk, chair, and coffee table… But the bookshelf and fireplace? I’m all in! I can’t even imagine getting work done in a space like this. I’d just want to look around all day!

I love how bright and airy this home office is. I already a similar style with the wicker chair, but this big window definitely adds to the beauty of this home office.

I love how classic this office is. It reminds me of something royal. It gives a very historical ambiance, and if you’ve ever been to the Ralph Lauren store on Newbury Street in Boston, it’s so similar! Obviously that’s a retail store and this is a dreamy home office, but the design is similar and I love it.
