A Pop of Color

Anthony and I haven’t been going out as much as we used to, for obvious reasons. As we get further into the usual cold and flu season plus worrying about COVID-19, we’re trying to be even more cautious than before. Once restaurants opened up in the summer, we probably went out once a week (outdoor seating only, though.) While we felt comfortable with all of the places we were going to, we’ve decided that it’s for the best that we refrain from as many public places as possible. I’m sure we’ll still go out to eat at least once or twice before it gets too cold to sit outside, but I’d say we’ll stick to staying home and making dinner (or ordering takeout) for the most part. Last week, we did go out to an Italian restaurant just up the street from our apartment. We went at 4:45 to beat the “dinner rush” which was definitely a smart idea.

It was pretty chilly, so I decided to break out my new J. Crew Wool Sweater in this beautiful orange color. This sweater retails for $98 but I found it on thredUP for $24.99. What a find! I’m not usually one to spend a ton of money on a sweater, never mind one that’s bright orange! If I’m going to spend, it’s usually on something neutral or a nice pair of denim. Something that I can wear daily. So when I saw this classic sweater listed on thredUP for such a great price, I knew it was meant to be. If you’re looking for a fun, bright, pop of color to add to your closet, I 100% recommend checking thredUP. I personally search by brand (usually J. Crew since I know the quality is 100%) and then search by size and category. Although thredUP can be overwhelming, if you know what you’re looking for, you can easily search for it.

If you sign up for a thredUP account using this link, you’ll receive $20 off your first order! I would have gotten this sweater for $4.99 plus shipping! It’s definitely worth giving thredUP a try!

This post is not sponsored by thredUP. I am a thredUP ambassador and do receive a monthly credit to shop, but am not required to share anything on my blog regarding our partnership. I’m sharing thredUP because I love finding affordable ways to enhance my closet, and I hope you do too!
