Dining Al Fresco

This year more than ever, I’ve been loving outdoor dining. Of course out at restaurants, but I’ve even been drinking my coffee and eating some dinners outdoors. More often than not, I find myself brewing a cup of coffee into a Yeti and bringing it to the water to enjoy. And just the other night, I packed up two containers of pasta salad and brought them to a local park for dinner with Ant. I couldn’t tell you what it is… But enjoying the little things (ie: coffee, basic home meals) feels *so much* more exciting outdoors.

We’re a ways away from leaving the city and buying a house, but outdoor dining makes me that much more excited for our future garden, porch and deck, and backyard. I can’t wait to host cocktail hours on our porch and cookouts with festive decor, but for now I’ll appreciate the city, especially where we live. I’m so grateful we’re close to so many amazing parks and waterfront views!

Here’s some of my inspiration for a classic, coastal dining al fresco space.
