Nautical Home Decor

Summer or not, I’ve always loved the nautical, coastal-living interior design style. From beach prints to rattan accents, it’s definitely the style we currently have in our apartment. After sharing our new bar cart and a few different Instagram Stories, I received quite a few DM’s asking about our decor. Below I’ve rounded up some of my favorite nautical home decor pieces that we own as well as some that are on my wishlist. We’re pretty limited with space in our apartment and we’ve just about reached our maximum capacity for decor – but I’m always looking just in case. Enjoy!

1. Rope Tabletop Decor

This is a Marshall’s online find and seriously one of my favorites! We’re always looking for pieces like this to decorate our bar cart, TV stand, or even for me to keep as a little decoration on my desk. This Nautical Rope “ball” looks like it would be actual rope, but it feels like it’s ceramic or glass! It’s high quality and the perfect decoration to add a little “beach” vibe to any spot.

2. Wood and Metal Wire Sailboat

Most sailboat models are well over $100, so when I saw this online I had to include it here. Again, another Marshall’s find online! I miss shopping in Home Goods and Marshalls, but who knew their online shop had such great finds?!

3. Gold Octopus Figurine

I agree that this looks a little weird at first. I’m not sure why, though. We have this displayed next to a candle on our kitchen island and it looks so pretty! It adds the perfect “oceanic” feel.

4. Rattan Watering Can Faux Plant

I’m not a “plant lady.” I think live plants are beautiful and I applaud anyone that can keep them thriving for long periods of time. But me? I’ll take a fake plant any time of the day. I do love a bouquet of flowers, though! This rattan watering can faux plant was too cute not to share! I think it’s the perfect way to add a little “spring” to your home.

5. Wooden Seagull Statues

An Amazon find that I just love. I think these wooden statues would be perfect on a coffee table, TV stand, bay window, or even on a bathroom counter.

6. Nantucket Hydrangeas Print

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’m a hydrangea-lover. In the summer, I share photos almost daily of hydrangeas that I see on the Cape, here in Boston, or really anywhere in New England. They’re the perfect way to add a bit of New England to any home. I also included this faux hydrangea plant in my round-up. I’m all about fresh flowers, but you probably won’t find hydrangeas anywhere until they’re in season. This one looks so realistic!

7. Rattan Bar Cart

I’m not going to go too in-depth regarding our bar cart, since I just shared a whole blog post about it. But, just know – it’s 100% worth every penny and we love it.

8. Wicker Coasters

I’m obsessed with these! We have placemats that look identical, but these coasters would be perfect for when I have coffee and water at my desk. 100% on the “add to cart” list.
