On Turning Twenty-Six

First things first… I’ve slacked a bit since sharing that I was going to post 31 articles in 31 days on my blog… but I’m still holding myself to it. There may just be a few days that have multiple blog posts, so prepare your inboxes, friends.

On October 3rd, I turned 26. I spent my birthday weekend first celebrating with family, then celebrating with just Ant, and then celebrating with Katie – my lifelong best friend. I love my birthday, mainly because I love a fresh start… I’d like to think a lot has changed between 25 and 26, but right now it all feels the same. I think I need to take some time to process last year vs. this year, because I know there has been change, I just need to put it to paper.

On our walk home in the North End, after my birthday dinner at Panza.

I have a big goals for 26, and I’d be doing myself a disservice if I didn’t share at least a few here. It makes them feel more… attainable? Sooo, here are a few goals I’d love to accomplish in year 26: I will begin the process of writing a book, I’d like to visit at least 3 new states, I want to book an Airbnb for a few weeks and just work remotely from wherever that cabin may be, I want to send more snail mail, and I want to spend time this winter skiing.

Thank you for making year 25 so wonderful, and cheers to year 26.

You’re an inspiring young woman of 26 yrs. Even for this VERY senior woman… I can’t wait to see what you’ll make happen in your 26th yr. 💕Nanny
