Eyelet for Spring

I have been on the hunt for “spring” tops lately. At the end of February, most days were still below freezing and I found myself wearing the same collection of sweaters over and over. Luckily, as of this weekend (and what appears to be the trend for the upcoming week) Boston is finally showing signs of spring! March is a weird month in New England because mentally, I’m in a summer mindset and in reality, it’s still acceptable to wear a winter jacket. It doesn’t make sense to pack up my winter wardrobe quite yet but it’s still way too early to unpack my summer closet.

This eyelet blouse caught my eye for multiple reasons. The first being: I’m obsessed with the fit. I love the peplum style, the detail on the sleeves, and I love that it’s not your typical all-white eyelet top. The embroidery on it is a pink/plum color and adds such a fun pop of color to the top. I styled it with light wash jeans and since we were out for a walk, my Tretorn sneakers. Unfortunately, they’re from last year and I haven’t been able to find the Gingham print anywhere else – but I love this white and navy pair!

I think this blouse could be perfectly styled so many ways and I’m looking forward to wearing it so many ways – including with white denim! Plus, an affordable option is always a win 🙂

Happy Monday, all!
