No summer is complete without a visit to Maine. And, after a rainy start to the season in Boston, a sunny week on the beach in Maine was exactly what we all needed. Our week was filled with homemade sandwiches, nap dresses, hours spent in the ocean, and lots of sunscreen. Ant and I have been bringing our camera wherever we go, and we had so much fun looking back at pictures after this trip has ended. Rather than create a guide to what we did (there’s plenty out there on the web if you’re looking) I thought it would be fun to share quick snaps of where we went and what we saw throughout the week. An itty-bitty photo diary moment, if you will.
We spent a handful of days at Ocean Park Beach. The surrounding houses and neighborhoods are so quaint. I loved this little nook!

A very candid, iPhone snap from an evening by the Old Orchard Beach “Playland.”
A snug, grab-and-go breakfast sandwich kind-of place.
The prettiest view from Kennebunkport; on the lawn next to Best of Everything.

Thanks for your note – we’d love to have you in New England! France is on my list, so I guess we’ll just have to swap. 😉
Haha, good idea!
